       Sponsorship Opportunities

    by posted 4/5/2010

Milton Girls Softball is excited to kickoff our 2010 Sponsorship Program.

Like all youth sports organizations, Milton Girls Softball works hard to keep registration fees as low as possible despite the increasing costs for softball equipment, uniforms, field maintenance, insurance, umpires, etc.

We depend upon support from businesses and individuals to help keep our fees from rising and possibly preventing some children from participating in the program.  As in years past, we are working to keep our playing fields in the best possible condition despite challenging use and weather conditions.

We are offering several different sponsorship packages to fit all business - large and small.  If you know of a business or an organization that may be interested, please feel free to contact .

For more information, click on the Sponsorships tab or go to sponsors.miltonsoftball.com.

CORI Request Form for Coaches and Volunteers

The Milton Girls Softball Association requires all coaches and board members to complete the CORI (criminal history) form.

In compliance with Massachusetts General Laws, all volunteers of Milton Softball over the age of 18 must pass a CORI background check before they can coach or interact with the players in an official capacity.  If you plan on coaching or serving as a team parent you must complete the
CORI Request Form and the CORI Policy Acknowledgement and Agreement Form for the league. These forms will be used to request the background check.  Even if you have previously passed a CORI background check with another organization you need to be checked through the Milton Girls Softball Association.

Here is what we need from you:

    1. Complete the CORI Request Form and provide it to Gary Kelly of the MGSA
    2. Read the Milton Girls Softball Association CORI Policy
    3. Complete the CORI Policy Acknowledgement and Agreement Form on the website
We appreciate the time and effort of those who volunteer to serve our league.  Without these volunteers Milton Girls Softball Association would not exist.  Thank you for your willingness to volunteer.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the Milton Girls Softball CORI Administrator, Gary Kelly at 617-719-2988.

Thank you for your prompt response on this important safety issue.
