Remembering Bill Giovannucci

It is with great sadness that Milton Girls Softball shares the recent passing of Board Member Bill Giovannucci.

If your daughter plays softball today, her experience is better due to Bill's efforts. From bullpens to fences to foul poles to anchored bases to hot dogs at all star games and opening day, Gio did it or had a hand in it. Bill coached his twin daughters (Seniors at Milton HS) in youth softball from the earliest stages of the program to 18u this past summer. He would do anything to help make a young girl's softball experience better. "Leave this place a little better than the way you found it" is a simple goal for all of us; in Bills case, our town and our program are better off for his efforts. The next time you (or your daughter) takes a swing, be happy Bill put so much of his time in to make the experience something great.
